Don Carlos Resort and Cudeca Foundation join efforts against cancer

• Through this annual collaboration agreement, the Resort shall provide free spaces and donate weekend packages for events organised by the Foundation

 

Marbella, March 22, 2011. Marbella’s Don Carlos Leisure Resort & Spa and the Cudeca Foundation signed a collaboration agreement on March 1 with a view to join forces to help cancer patients in non-curative phases of the illness in the province of Malaga.

 

It is an agreement whereby the Don Carlos Leisure Resort & Spa undertakes to support the Foundation through fund-raising and providing free use of spaces for Cudeca to be able to carry out its awareness-raising events and actions scheduled during the year.

 

Don Carlos Leisure Resort & Spa manager Manel Castelló said that “doing whatever is in our hands to contribute to helping and improving the quality of life of people who most need it is a priority social commitment for our Resort”.

 

The signing of the agreement was attended by Manel Castelló and the Medical Director of the Cudeca Foundation, Marisa Martín, and was held in the Adelfas room of the Don Carlos hotel at 10:30 in the morning.
