FilosofíaWHAT IS HAPPY MAKING? Expo Hotels & Resorts has designed a strategy that is based on a change in corporate culture, and which will focus on "people".
In order to make this profound change a reality, the concept of "HAPPY MAKING" has been developed, aimed at creating experiences based on the features that are to characterise the company: Affection, Cheerfulness, Good Taste and the Destination Culture.
Expo Hotels will progressively redesign all of its services with the goal of providing its guests with "moments that make you happy".
Besides, we have begun to implement a training program for all Chain personnel in which the applications of the new concept to each establishment's day-to-day work will be studied. After several pilot projects developed in 2008, in 2009 it will gradually be implemented in all of the hotel group's establishments with more than 35,000 hours of training, representing an increase of nearly 40% with respect to 2008. In this manner, personnel will become one of the main channels for transmitting and applying the Chain's new traits. It must be emphasised that the training program has been developed and will be implemented with the internal Training Department's own resources.
